As first time home buyers, my wife and I went into things with a lot of uncertainty, but with Romila?s guidance, it was actually very enjoyable. Romila was exceptionally helpful and she has a team that she works together with like a well oiled machine. She was knowledgeable and honest about the houses we looked at, illuminating houses that had major issues or ones that were unfairly priced. One time, she showed us a house despite the sellers only offering 1% commission instead of 3% to the buyers realtor. We didn?t make an offer on it, but it says a lot about the kind of person she is that she would lose money out of her pocket to make us happy. When we finally bid on a house, she helped us strengthen our offer and we won the first house we bid on without overbidding, which is very tough in this market (there were 4 other offers on the table). After that, we negotiated with the seller several times about the inspection, and got every issue resolved that we requested, and even got an additional very nice credit just 24hrs before closing on the house. Her attorney called me at 9pm that evening to secure the credit, which he really didn?t have to do. I feel that he went above and beyond there. I can?t count the number of late night and weekend calls and correspondences I had with Romila. I never had to worry about her not responding. Even when she was on vacation she specifically told me that she?d be available if we needed something, and she followed through on that. Even after closing, she is still helping us with remodeling, recommending contractors, and even gave us moving boxes. She?s been checking up on us without us even reaching out first. She has had our back from start to finish and we will always remember that. So many of these things are hard to put a dollar sign on, but they make all the difference to me. It?s very rare to find help like that. We think she is the best!
