ZillowVERIFIEDIf I could rate Robyn Burdett zero starts, I would. She sold us a house in Chantilly (over $1M), and before selling, she hired cheap contractors to spruce up the house. Immediately upon moving in we experienced water leaking from 2 of the 3 upstairs showers into the floor below. Apparently, they installed the glass shower door backwards. In addition, the cabinets that they "re-faced" started chipping and cracking. At first when we reached out to Robyn, she assured us that she works with this contractor on multiple listings, that the work was warrantied, and that the contractor would return to fix the issue. The contractor actually showed up and assured us that this work is under warranty, as did Robyn, and that he would return to fix everything. This is when everything when south quickly. I reached out to Robyn to let her know that the contractor had gone silent on us. Her response was "the seller nor I have any responsibility" which directly contradicts what she told us a week before. She went on to tell me that "I never said there was a warranty" which again completely contradicts what she told me the week prior. Now she has stopped responding to my texts and emails and continues to use this cheap contractor on other active listings of hers. This is the most unprofessional behavior I have ever encountered and would expect more from an experienced realtor. I would steer clear of any home that Robyn Burdett is trying to sell. Chances are you will run into many issues with the home, which she couldn't care less.

We started looking in December and were able to find a wonderful new home, at a fair price in a great neighborhood thanks to Robyn. Her connections in Northern Virginia are second to none, and we feel like we had a great experience, which is no mean feat given the extraordinary scarce market in the winter of 2022. I especially like how carefully she listened to what we wanted, and at the same time educated us about the potential of the homes we saw. We were referred to Robyn by a friend who had used her twice previously to buy. We set up an aEURoeinformation gatheringaEUR? phone call with Robyn, as we thought we were still 18-24 months out from actually buying a place. We had some questions about the current market and about the process of buying and selling at the same time, since this would be our first time selling a home while also going through the purchasing process. Robyn was so helpful and patient with all of our questions and was able to provide us with additional insight into the process. So much so that we decided we were more ready than we thought to sell our current house and look for a new house! Our focus was on finding the RIGHT house to buy and we were not going to put our house on the market until we found it! Robyn was so helpful and knowledgeable about neighborhoods that fit what we were looking for! She was also incredibly helpful in guiding us on getting our house market ready. Our house was listed for less than 72 hours before we had multiple offers. She helped us navigate the offers, choose the best option and negotiate the terms of the contract. Robyn also helped us to negotiate the best deal possible on our new house. Throughout the whole process she was always available for questions and was very responsive. She stayed on top of the negotiation of both contracts and caught errors before they became issues. As far as we are concerned, we are in our aEURoeforever home,aEUR? however, if that status changes, we will absolutely call Robyn to be our realtor!! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

ZillowVERIFIEDRobyn did a great job! We used her on the purchase of a new construction and for the sell of my condo in East Gate. For the purchase, Robyn was instrumental in helping us with our blue tape walk through and talking with the builder. She brought put points that my wife and I had not considered our thought to ask and did a great job explaining things when we had questions. Takes the time to ensure you understand what was said, how it impacts the process, and what it means to you as the buyer. For the sale, she did great recommending the paint color we choose, helping us navigating the listing, and was great when it came to reviewing the offers. Loved how she helped identify the risks involved in certain offers to help with selecting the, not just the one with the most money, but the one most likely to make it to closing without any issues.

ZillowVERIFIEDRobyn is a rare gem. She is a professional that has learned all aspects of the industry. If youre upfront about your real estate goals Robyn will be able to go through whats necessary to achieve them and get you to the goal line. She knows exactly what shes doing. Check your ego at the door, let her know your goals and if you follow her advice youll be successful in achieving them. She goes above and beyond for her clients. Shes extremely responsive and youll believe youre her only client which obviously cannot be true based on her success rate. I bought my first home with her and sold the first home I bought with her as well. If it wasnt for her skill set I would not have gotten the house I wanted and if it wasnt for her skillset I wouldnt have sold my home for what I wanted. I know we all think were experts because we have applications on our phones and look at properties all day long but we really arent. You want to hire an expert and you want to hire someone that will have your best interest at heart. I promise you, you will not find anyone better. If youre reading this stop because youve found the best there is. Youll have a realtor for life and probably a friend for life. The only downside is Robyn cannot clone herself, so all 50 states and US territories do not have a Robyn. She deserves all the success that this world has to offer and if youre her client youll be successful too.
