To say that Robert had the deck stacked against him to sell our house was an understatement and yet in about 2 months, he sold it! Backstory: our HOA had recently gave each condo in the community a $67,000 special emergency assessment due in 60 days and as a result, we knew we needed to sell. The only caveat? We did NOT want to cover the assessment in closing costs and instead wanted the buyer to pay it, as we did not have enough equity in the house to feel comfortable paying for it. To make selling even more difficult, at the time we listed, there were 11+ other houses in our condo complex and most of them were 20k-60k BENEATH us in price AND were willing to cover the assessment. Yet through Roberts hard work, we were able to sell first AND at the highest price point out of all the houses that were on the market. To say we are grateful that he sold our house in an understatement. While the process was beyond stressful and heartbreaking at times, Robert remained optimistic and held on to the belief that we would sell the house, even when my husband and I thought all seemed lost. He even found us a beautiful rental property to move into once escrow closed and made sure we were happily settled in. While I dont wish the past 3 months we lived through on anybody, if you find yourself in a tough spot, Robert is the man to call. Without him, I cant even imagine where we would be.
