He repeatedly told us that he was representing us as our buyer agent and did not inform us that he was actually working as a subagent for the seller until very late in the process. I do not know whether this was intentional or an oversight, but I feel that it severely disadvantaged us in every aspect of our sale. I noticed another person say in a review that it seemed like Russ was practically working for the seller. Buyer beware, he might be! Ask for the legally required disclosures about agency at your first meeting with Russ and do not accept any excuses about not entering into an agency agreement.

I am fairly detailed/process oriented; Russ was patient and adapted, which was a plus. I appreciated how he listened to my needs and preferences - some neighborhoods were non-negotiable and he never sent me listings for those neighborhoods. He also adapted to my desire to only work with one inspector in particular. Overall, my home search with Russ was less stressful than with previous realtors.
