1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Check your credit, The homebuyer's credit score is among the most important factors when it comes to qualifying for a loan these days. Rates are still very low and many new buyers are pleased to hear that they may have to put down 3.5% or less. Also organize your documents, Typically, mortgage lenders will request 2 recent pay stubs, the previous 2 years' W-2s, tax returns and the past 2 months of bank statements. Also finding a great Realtor who can really guide you through the process and ensure you have a great experience!!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Take your time to discover what makes your home stand out from those selling in your community; it may be the schools associated with your home, a bedroom on the ground floor, or the views. Each home is different and possesses special characteristics and features that will maximize your home’s sales price when advertised effectively. Combined with an aggressive marketing strategy that includes home staging, professional marketing materials and an internet advertising campaign that exposes your home to the widest possible audience will ensure your home sells at peak market price. (Price, Location, Condition) These are the biggest factors in selling a home.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Everything from 1st time home buyers to clients purchasing their dream home.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
A very recent transaction there was a family that was in LOVE with a certain house but walked away after a home inspection scared them off. They were working with another Realtor at the time. Once they reached out to me I had a close friend of mine who is a very talented master craftsman/renovator take a look at the house and determined what they thought was a huge deal turned out to be a $700 fix. They ended up purchasing the home for $10,000 less than original offer. Gorgeous home in Evans GA. Very Happy Family.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I got my start in real estate by managing 200+ rental homes for a local real estate company. I was able to help many people during that time and realized with my love of helping people (creating value in their life) and love of real estate it was a great fit!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
My ability to go above and beyond for people and to ensure that they have a great experience. I pride myself on that. I also have years of Residential sales experience along with buyer accreditations. I am a listing specialist as well with my current real estate team.
