Robert Cohen was by far the best realtor I have ever worked with. When I first contacted Robert to talk about listing my old house he came out the very same day. We walked through the house going into every room and basement. After his walk through he advised me it would needed a lot of renovations before listing it.. but I already new this. The amount and time to do it all would not make much sense and would never recover the amount spent. So Robert suggested selling to a local contractor with no repairs or fees on a time schedule I want. I thought his suggestion was the best way to proceed. By doing this he would NOT get any realtor fees. Robert then said he would ask a couple of local contractors to provide quotes on an out right purchase. Within two days I had two quotes one of which I was very pleased with and took the offer. I then asked Robert about a real estate attorney and he gave me the name of one that he had used many times. I contacted her and she was also fantastic. Robert did not have to help me as much as he did especially since he did not list the property. He also followed up with me many times to make sure all was going OK. Its hard to imagine that anyone could know the Lexington housing market as well as Robert does. He was able to thread a very precise needle for us, as we were looking for housing at the very lowest end of the Lexington housing market in a very specific area, and somehow actually managed to help us pull this off and buy our new home in just a few months of searching. I doubt this would have worked with someone less expert and knowledgeable than Robert.
