About Ricky Allen

Hello, my name is Ricky Allen. I am committed to providing you with the necessary energy and enthusiasm in order to exceed your expectations of a Realtor. I have an extensive background in business and negotiations and a real passion for real estate. I bought my first property in my early 20's and have bought and sold within my own portfolio of real estate for over 30 years. There isn't an open house I can drive by without stopping! I have a wide range of real estate experience from owning and managing international investment properties to possessing residential development experience. I not only have experience in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, but I also have a keen eye for residential design components. I possess a B.S. in Economics from the University of Missouri; and a MBA from Washington University. However, my most valuable life lessons have probably come from my extensive international travels and interactions with many, diverse cultures. I have traveled the world trading in precious gemstones in places such as Myanmar (Burma) seeking rare rubies and Sri Lanka in search of sapphires. My entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic began at an early age with a strong family influence. My grandfather immigrated from Poland in the early 1900's with only a backpack to his name and began peddling. He soon opened a general store and after three generations of hard work following his inspired humble beginning, it grew to become one of the largest food service companies in the U.S.
