Rick became licensed to practice Real Estate in 2002 and during his career, Rick has brokered over 800 Real Estate Transactions which include several hundred Foreclosures & Short Sales. Rick is also a Licensed Property Manager and assists clients in assembling & managing rental portfolios. Ivan was so easy to work with and very accommodating., we closed within a little over a month! 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Consulting a professional is the first step in a successful home buying or selling process. Many consumers start online and gather lots of data that can be confusing & misinterpreted. Many buyers start too late in the process and end up having to rent for another year due to this. The ideal time to start the buying process is 9 months before your lease is up.

2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Consult a professional immediately, waiting can create undue stress, especially when a property may need some improvements/repairs to be marketed for top dollar. Knowing what to do & not to do prior to marketing the property is key!

3) What types of clients have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of clients, ranging from first-time homebuyers to investors and assembled rental portfolios, but my specialty sits in the same range for these diverse groups, which is the $200,000 - $400,000 price range.

4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

I find that my most grateful clients are the ones that have to relocate. They appreciate how I take care of their property in their absence and handle the transaction, despite them being of the state or country.

5) How did you get started in Real Estate?

I minored in Real Estate in college and have always had a passion for owning & selling real estate. I purchased my first home at the age of 19 and the Realtor gave us such a good experience, that I decided then that I would be in real estate at some point.

6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

I minored in Real Estate in college and majored in Finance, which go hand in hand for Residential Real Estate. My 17 years of experience have given me an even deeper education and I serve on Real Estate educational boards & marketing teams to ensure that my clients are always being served in the best ways possible.
