When it came time to sell our home of 19 years in Oswego, we knew Rich was the agent to go to. Not only did he guide us through the listing process and help us make sure our home was prepared to be show ready, but because of his extensive knowledge of the area, he was able to price the house properly for listing in the market. Fairly for us, and appropriately for the market. When I write that Rich helped make sure the home was show ready, I mean it. Since we had left the area a few days before listing, and weren?t there when our movers finished up, we felt a little helpless and out of touch with our home directly, but Rich was there to take care of it all. Rich worked with our move-out housekeeper and carpet company (both that he referred to us) to be sure the home was cleaned up well and that the new carpet was put down professionally. Rich even replaced a few light bulbs that were out, took out our garbage, and left shoe covers for the showings so the new carpet wasnt damaged. Not only this, but it had also snowed before the first day of showing and he even shoveled the walk. Prepping the home well and pricing it right helped to achieve the goal of making sure we got a lot of showings right away. And a lot of showings we got! I lost track of how many showings there were the first day, but all of those showings produced multiple offers, even over asking price. We were rather stunned that it went so quickly in the middle of winter, and Rich was right there to manage it all. Once the offer we wanted was finalized by Rich, and the buyer?s inspection was done, it was discovered that our sump pump had gone out! Because we were not in the area due to our relocation, Rich got a new sump pump, replaced it, and sealed it properly to be sure the deal finalized. He also replaced a smoke detector that we did not know wasnt working. What agent, besides Rich, would do this? And on a weekend? None that I have ever heard of. Rich was also right there to walk us through the closing process. Again, since we weren?t in the area, doing a closing without being there can be challenging, stressful and confusing, but the deal was signed, and we closed on the house more quickly than we could have imagined. We have Rich to thank for it. When looking for an agent one should always go with someone who knows the area, will give 100%, walk you through the entire process from listing, to showing, to negotiating the offer, and to the closing. The bonuses with Rich come in where he will do what is needed OVER AND ABOVE what most agents will do to be sure everything is done and done right. Rich is that agent. Thank you, Rich! It was time to sell my mothers home after she passed, so we started looking for an agent. After my first meeting with Rich I felt confident that all the good things I had heard were true. The man walks the walk as they say. From the moment we signed on, Rich was on it and never let up. I met Rich through a referral of my mortgage broker. From the very beginning Rich was very personable. He was able to quickly pick up on what I like and do not like, and made it a focus around what I wanted. To not settle. There were many houses that we viewed, and right before he would open the door, he would say, I dont think this is the one, but you decide. He knew exactly what I was looking for. He guided me and taught me things to look for. Not once did he miss an email, a call, a text, or an appointment. He truly made me feel so comfortable being in his hands. Once we found my home, he walked through the entire process with me. From the pre drywall meetings all the way to final walkthrough. After my closing, I had forgotten a specific detail in regards to the water heater, Rich to the rescue. Truly I would highly recommend Rich.
