Theres no feeling like buying a new house, and theres nothing like knowing youre in good hands all the way to that destination. My wife and I recently relocated from the busy Westside of Los Angeles to the relatively suburban city of Whittier, CA. We were new to the area, and ended up relying on Yelp reviews to help pick a realtor. But how to discern between all the gushing reviews that comprised many of the posts?Well, Remo the Realtor went one step beyond. We found an embedded video featuring Remo himself talking about the real estate process and his connection to his clients. And, while it couldve been window dressing, it felt sincere. As someone who considers himself a good judge of character, I got a good feeling about Remo. And after I eventually signed with his brokerage I also got a good feeling about Francisco, the agent assigned to help us find our Whittier home.The process turned out to be surprisingly quick. After showing us two or three decent homes, Francisco came up with a winner: a lovingly maintained 1924 beauty that had all the charm we were looking for and more. Of course, we entered the fray just before the end of the real estate frenzy, when every seller with a decent home had literally dozens of offers way above asking price. Not surprisingly, we lost our original bid, even though our offer was substantially above asking. But with the help of Francisco we stayed in touch with the sellers realtor and eventually the first buyer pulled out and we swooped in. But that was just the beginning. A faulty home foundation gave the original buyers cold feet. So we had to go through a series of complicated inspections and competing bids till we felt comfortable with the picture. Through it all, Francisco and Remo were a great help. Neither pushed too hard and both addressed all our questions and concerns. (Remo even went to city hall and found the original 1924 site plans when the online ones were temporarily inaccessible).Needless to say, it all worked out and my wife and I are now enjoying our wonderful, unique home. Moreover, when any other realtor wouldve taken the money and run, Remo and his people have really stayed in touch: first, staging a lovely champagne celebration on our front lawn, and then inviting us to weekly hosted gathering at our city parks summer concert series.In sum, we moved to Whittier for its welcoming and supportive small-town feel. Review for Marysol Marysol and her team have been nothing but incredible throughout our process in finding the right place for us! Marysol is a family friend of mine for several years and I have always followed her work journey. Being a first time home buyer is a scary thing! Even if we know someone in the business, we might be thinking or feeling we are far away from the possibility of being able to purchase anything! When I finally pulled the trigger to have an official appointment, Marysol and her team made me feel so welcomed!!! They help you make a plan to reach your goals! If you arent already there, they help you form a plan of how you can get there! If you feel like you want to wait before searching, they completely understand! I met with Marysol back in July 2019. We were ready to start a search but my boyfriend wanted to wait after we came back from one of our trips! We came back with Marysol in November 2019 when my boyfriend was then approved to buy with me as well. Marysol has been so patient with us throughout our search, as let me tell you my boyfriend had a bit pickier taste so our search was a bit slower ?? Nevertheless, Marysol was super patient with us and when we found potential places she was able to make us appointments in a timely matter and of course, write our offer when we found the place we wanted! I really appreciated throughout the process Marysol would point out things we didnt see. With all the excitement, its hard to see pass things that may not be beneficial in the future! Marysol definitely helped point out flaws when we couldnt see them throughout the process. Even after we received our keys mid August 2020, Marysol and her team continue to help us with questions we may have! You definitely feel part of the family with Team Remo! I cannot begin to even express how wonderful of an experience my husband and I had working with Remo and Francisco. We attended one of Remo's Home Buyer Workshops just to get some more information as we would be first time homebuyers and had no clue what we were doing. We were then referred to Eduardo Tarin and Tania Adame to get more information about mortgages and what we qualified for. After we were set on the financial side, we actually ended up selling an older family home. Remo assisted us with making sure all the paperwork for that home was in order and got us squared away with what we wanted for the house. Once that house was in process we began working with Remo and Francisco to find not one but two homes. We came up with a list of homes to see and Francisco was quick to schedule appointments for us to see homes (despite our often crazy schedules). By the second day of searching, we had found the perfect house! We put the offer in and found that the house had just been in escrow but fell out. We were lucky and our offer was accepted. We then found the second home for my aunt after quite a few searches and some interesting adventures. Francisco is such a positive and patient person who is such a pleasure to work with and makes the process less daunting! Thank you, Remo and Team, for helping us purchase our first home and for being so much fun to work with! We would recommend Remo and his team for anyone looking to have amazing people to work with who are very knowledgeable, have great customer service and love what they do!

To say that we had an incredible experience with Mary and Remo is a huge understatement. We met Mary at one of her open houses and instantly connected with her. She is full of positivity and warmth which is obvious right when you meet her. We asked her to be our agent and we actually put an offer on the house that we met her at. We are a somewhat young couple and had literally no idea what we were doing. I was terrified to buy a house and was a nervous wreck. Mary was there at EVERY step, answered any question we had day or night, and always made us feel like we were in the best hands we could be in. Unfortunately, the inspection of the house didnt go well. About 20 minutes into the inspection, the incredibly honest inspector (Marys recommendation) stopped, pulled Mary aside, and then they both came over to us and let us know that they did not think we should buy the house due to the massive amounts of repairs needed. Who does that?! Not only was Mary extremely honest with us, but she willingly lost money on that sale so that we wouldnt make a huge mistake! OMG unbelievable. She literally saved us from making a major financial mistake at her expense. After we let that house go, Mary ended up finding us the PERFECT house. I was still a nervous wreck, even more so after the inspection went well, but Mary was right there all the time. I am sure I asked some pretty stupid questions at times, but she never allowed me to feel like I was bugging her or anything. She was a partner and a friend in the biggest endeavor of our lives up to that point. When we closed on the house, Mary and Remo made it so special for us. They made a video with us, took pictures, and made us feel like celebrities in our own front yard. When we had our house warming party, they both came and spent a good amount of time celebrating with us, our friends, and neighbors. Mary even took up the job of being our party photographer so we wouldnt miss a beat. Mary and Remo make reality more than just their job. They make it into helping people fulfill dreams of owning a home, making sound financial choices, and truly caring about their clients on a personal level. So to say that we had an incredible experience with Mary and Remo would be an understatement. Because really, we made life long friends.
