About Regina Tyler
Regina Tyler has enjoyed living and working on the West Coast of Florida for the past 40 years. She has been a REALTOR(C) for Keller Williams Seminole since 2018. In 1996 she graduated with an A.S. degree in Merchandising Management from the International Academy of Merchandising and Design in Tampa, FL. Upon graduating, Regina went to work at Home Shopping Network in St. Petersburg, FL for over 20 years. In 2016 she graduated from St. Petersburg College with her B.A.S. in Paralegal studies. Mrs. Tyler is a current and active member of the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce and Clearwater Bar Association. For the past 5 years she has also been a volunteer for the Juvenile Guardian Ad Litem program with the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. In 2016 she was the recipient of the 2016 Pro Bono Service Award for a Paralegal. Regina is the PROUD daughter of a former U.S.Marine and granddaughter of a WWII Naval Seabee, so families of retired or active United States Service Members is her specialty. She is an active member of the VABA (The Veterans Advocacy & Benefits Association) and Home Partners of America.

1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
That we do it in steps.
1st is the buyer consultation
2nd is the pre approval process
3rd we start looking for their next forever home
4th I keep in contact with them after the purchase of the home
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Again its steps and timeline
View the home and find out their motivation to sell the home
Then based on the condition of the home its a doable timeline for repairs etc prior to pictures and listing
Then its getting it out in front of as many people as possible to get it sold so they can move to their next destination. Again stay in touch with them.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
VA, first time home buyers, sellers of SFR and Multi family properties, Condo purchases. Town homes
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
It is one that I have had the pleasure of doing multiple times over the last 2 years.
When young people come to me and ask me what they can do to buy a first time home. I take my time with them and explain the process along with the vocabulary that they will be running into during the course of the transaction. You would be surprised at how many do not know what an escrow deposit is. I love getting young folks into home with their children. I really makes me feel like they are my family and I take care of them as if they were. When they send me pics of their new home at the holidays it make me really know that this is more than a job, its a calling
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was downsized from an online television retailer in 2018 after 20+ years.
I thought now is the opportunity to use my merchandising, negotiating and legal skills all at the same time. My Aunt is a broker for KW in Ohio.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I had over 30 years of negotiating prices.
I also know what to legally say and what not to say. This is a huge benefit when dealing with contracts. I also have excellent people skills and follow through
