Absolutely loved working with Reggie! I cant recommend him enough. As a first time home buyer in the DC area understanding the housing market can be quite daunting. When I first met Reggie and started talking to him about buying, what struck me was his deep, almost academic knowledge of the DC metro area neighborhoods, markets, and current trends. He took his time to get to know me and understand my homeownership goals. To be honest it is kind of like having a friend and wise council all in one. He was always very responsive, never pushy and met me at every listing I could do in person. If I couldnt make the tour due to scheduling issues, he would do a virtual tour and show me the house. I was interested in many houses and he always ended up giving me honest, excellent sound advice, which helped me once I was ready to make an offer (my first and only offer). From his professionalism to his extensive knowledge, Reggie is the best realtor in the DC area. Even during a pandemic, he still went above and beyond to assist my family and I. He made sure we had virtual tours when we couldn't visit a home and when we did, he had extra masks and sanitizer. When I contacted Reggie, I did not have a lender or any idea how home-buying worked, I just knew I was tired of paying rent that was increasing every year. He set me up with a lender who was very knowledgeable in different programs to assist me and they both was very patient with me through all the late night texts, emails and calls. The homes that Reggie showed us were always in the correct price range, meet our needs and came with detailed reports that compared local home sales to ensure that I was getting the best bang for my bucks. When I decided on a house, Reggie walked me through the home inspection, helped me to understand the report in order to make an informed decision, assisted me in finding a contractor for the renovation, assisted in reviewing estimates and let me know when contractors were out to scam me. He worked with me every step of the way during closing and it was a big reassurance that he was there to assist during signing. Being a first time home-buyer is scary and with Reggie, I felt like I did not have to worry about being taken advantage of and I felt confident in my purchase. He was patient when I got frustrated with the home buying process, patient when the pandemic cause delays in the process and especially patient with all my texts and calls about different things in the process and homes that I got emails on in the middle of the night. During the entire process, he checked on my family during the pandemic, assisted if he knew were looking for items and just went above and beyond to make sure we were okay. His professionalism, his knowledge, his customer service, his expertise and the people on his team make Reggie the best realtor in this area hands down. This experience was a breeze and if I hear anyone mention buying or selling a home, I immediately refer them to Reggie because I know that he will take care of them.
