Let me start by saying everyone sometime in their life has had a real estate nightmare. But this is NOT one of those times. Let me give you a bit of background I work for the government, the government says you need to move in three weeks You say, yes sir yes ma'am. I got on websites to start looking for realtors and was on realtor.com. I contacted realtor.com, told the woman on the other line I wanted a female realtor because male realtors just don't get what a woman's looking for in a house and she referred me too Ms. Reeka Christmann. In a matter of minutes minutes I tell you, this lovely woman all bubbly and cheery calls me and introduces herself "HI, I'm Reeka Christmann, I hear you're in the market for a house in Florida". She actually took the time to Understand my personality (i'm originally from Jersey and I have no filter, Blunt and straight to the point) and wanted to know exactly what I required in the house, my response was I would like a house that I can roller skate in, meaning an open floor plan and tile floors. She knew exactly what I was looking for not to mention she likes rollerskating too. The house that I was so interested in she immediately set up a video tour since I was out of state (Knoxville, TN), by the way that was within four days of our initial contact. On my break from work she got on a video chat with me and her husband Dave and walk through the entire house and Dave being a contractor told me what was good what was bad what was no big thing, very informative, after that meeting I decided I wanted to purchase the house. I kid you not it felt like minutes past (not hours, not days), contract was signed and my bid was accepted, then in a blink of an eye a closing date was scheduled, had a little bit of a problem with the house in Tennessee and they worked with me. They walked me through step-by-step everything that I needed to do and get done to move here to Florida. Their finance guy (Sean Wilkins, Fairview Lending) got me pre-approved, undoubtably one of the best financial consultants, I see why they work with him. I am not an unintelligent person but when it comes to real estate there is a lot of inns and outs and this power couple of realtors has never treated me like I was stupid (unlike the realtors in Knoxville, TN). It is very stressful to have to sell one house and then buy another house and then move your entire house by yourself halfway across country OK it was only 12 hours but still it's very stressful nonetheless. Reeka and Dave could tell when I was just about ready to have a meltdown and they were able to walk me through it call me down and verify that everything's gonna be OK and that I'll soon be in my dream home and starting a new life. The last final day of closing they were at the closing table basically holding my hand. I was so very grateful for them being there. they are the most kind considerate thoughtful well-informed realtors I have ever known. They have gone above and beyond anything that I had ever expected a realtor to do. Reeka and Dave are there for you whenever you need them, they get back to you in a timely manner they discuss issues if there are any, with you. They go over contracts step by step, they explain everything until you understand, I have never come across realtors that care so much for their clients.
