Born in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Raquel was raised in the little historical town of Holualoa, where picking coffee, macadamia nuts, and other island fruits was an everyday thing. Living in a small village but experiencing firsthand the growth of the Big Island for over 40 years, she has been able to appreciate our ever-changing community from the mountains to the sea. As a graduate from Konawaena High School and then attending University of Hawaii, Raquel studied Business, Sales & Marketing while working in high end resorts.
