What clients say about this agent....
Randy listened to everything we told him about our place and wrote up a beautiful description for potential buyers. When we sold it, he worked with us to find another home and arranged for us to move in without having to store our belongings before we could move in. He was always available for questions and couldn't have been more helpful with the whole process.

Thanks Randy, I am a life member of the Schulenburg Reality Team!!
In 2014 my dad passed away and I was in charge of selling his house. At that time I also needed a house for myself. Randy was the first realtor I ever worked with, and at that time in my life, I needed an honest realtor. Randy took me to see lots of houses and I had an exact idea of what I thought I needed. Randy, took me through process of buying a house and guided me in a way that really left a lasting impression on me. Fast forward four years and in 2019, another big life moment happens to me. Me and my cousins decide to purchase a house together up in northern Michigan. I wanted to move right away but had my own house to sell. Randy helped me sell my house with me not even being in town!! The process took four months, and was full of surprises for me, but Randy was never fazed by anything. Now I am sitting in my new home up in beautiful Wolverine, Michigan drinking coffee and writing this review... Thank you Randy for helping me countless times!!
Randy was a great realtor. This was our first time purchasing a home and he walked us through the entire process and answered any and all questions we had. He also provided valuable information that we otherwise wouldn't have known. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend him to any and all friends/family!
This review is based on a property I am currently leasing out with Schulenburg Realty being the acting agents for the landlord in this lease. This review also only involves Randy Schulenburg the Managing Broker, Christina Nates, the Real Estate Agent, and the Landlord Fred Sontag. This started out as a very friendly, smooth transaction on a property in West Dundee but quickly turned into a nightmare upon taking possession. After move in we both felt the property was grossly misrepresented and not in habitable shape for a rental. Before the contract was signed we were made certain promises (in emails saved) that the house was to be cleaned and made proper for move in like any rental. This was agreed upon and was never accomplished. So the lease is signed and upon move in we find many problems with the place that have no business in a rental. First, the move in checklist was done extremely hastily due to the Realtor needing to be at a soccer game so I'm not sure everything we pointed out was even addressed or even written down for that matter. There is a pest infestation of bees in the walls, mice running around everywhere in the house (they nest in the insulation behind our heads in the master). I have caught several mice already. Spiderwebs and spiders rule this house, they are literally everywhere and the cobweb cleaning and dusting was supposed to have happened and it didn't. Everything is filthy, from the floors, to the showers with mold and mildew on the walls and rafter beams. The place still looks like it sat for a decade, nothing was cleaned. The not to code electrical everywhere, including two outlets near a water source (kitchen sink) just stuck in a rotted back splash board exposed. Behind this back splash board in mice droppings and filth...in the kitchen!!! Lots of electrical outlets do not work, showerheads leak everywhere, and some lights do not work with new bulbs. We basically wanted out of this place immediately because it's so gross and unlivable, but the realtors did not want to give their commissions back (reprehensible behavior) so the landlord doesn't want to refund our monies because he had to pay their commissions. I mentioned all of these issues as soon as we moved in and saw in detail everything that was wrong. Furthermore, the realtors and the landlord asked for more money up front (partial month plus next months rent- unrelated to credit) to seal the deal. Now I know why, they wanted to get as much money from us as possible because they probably knew what we would end up finding and want out. We believe we were grossly misled on this property in an unethical way by all parties involved. None involved wants to let us out of the lease without us losing a considerable amount of money, so now we have to take the parties involved to Kane County Court, of which I will gladly do. Do not conduct business with these people, and if you do, please do way more due diligence on the transaction, get everything in writing, and have a professional check out the house. I am not very experienced in this and I have had pretty good luck taking people at their word, but this was a nightmare. I would love to post pictures of the stuff we found but it might gross you all out too. These people have no business doing contractual leasing. Thanks,JAG
Randy is such a great guy to work with. Very easy going and made the buying and selling process so simple. He sold my wifes condo in 5 days at near asking, and mine in 2 days over asking. The camera crew that he uses to photograph our properties really helped sell the house. Our homes had a completely different presence online compared to our competition, and it translated to lots of interest, showings and inevitably, quick sales. I would highly recommend giving him a chance.
I can not express enough how helpful Randy has been in helping my family. He gets to know your needs, and those of everyone in your family! I had so many quirky requests, and he would make sure to get to the house before us to see if it had the things I was looking for. He also will be the first to explain to you what a specific house will do to your budget - he isnt in this just to make the sale he wants to make sure your happy with the decision you made. If your looking for a realtor who generally cares about his clients, who takes the time to know and understand your needs, is willing to look with you no matter your budget Randy is your guy!
The service I received from Randy was truly remarkable, I consider Randy as one of the most professional and conscientious people I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. He was very patient with me (and my ever changing needs) throughout the entire process and most importantly he delivered on his promise, we found the perfect house at a great price. There is no doubt in my mind that without Randy's assistance things would not have turned out as well as they did. And no, I am not his brother-in-law or something like that, I never met Randy before we engaged in the home buying process, but I do consider him a friend now.
Randy was an awesome agent! He did a wonderful job with the listing, has great communication, and was supportive throughout the whole process. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
Buying a house was so easy with Randy. I learned a lot from him because he will explain everything that you are unclear about. I was very nervous about buying a house and the whole process. After meeting Randy all those worries went away. Great Real Estate Professional!!
