With partner, Doug Crutcher, we have served the East Texas area as the Crutcher and Hartley Team of RE/MAX Properties since 1997. I became an official Tyler resident in 1995 after leaving the Dallas Metroplex. My strong entrepreneurial background lead to my Real Estate career. My degree is in Journalism specializing in advertising and public relations from Southern Methodist University. I am a certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and am very proud to receive the RE/MAX Chairman's Club Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Hall of Fame recognition. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Getting your finances organized and visiting with a lender prior to looking for a home will help tremendously. This way your agent will be using your time together more wisely.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Taking care of "Honey Do" projects and removing clutter is the best place to start. First impressions are very important in selling your home. Next you need a Market Analysis for your home done by a local Realtor. Pricing your home too high will lengthen the market time on your sale.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Our team works with all price ranges up to the multi millions.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
A recent couple were very "afraid" that something was going to go wrong throughout the transaction. It was very rewarding to go to closing and see those happy smiles!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
Tours through castles, historical homes, and model homes have always been an enjoyable part of my life. To be able to see all types of architecture and interior design on a daily basis makes life complete!
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
My background in marketing and public relations helps in every aspect of selling your home. With 22 years of experience, I hope that buyers will feel comfortable with my help and knowledge of the east Texas area.
