I'm Pete Gonatas, a real estate agent working with buyers and sellers in Louisville and the surrounding areas. I'm all about getting things done and love the challenge of helping you find the perfect home. Originally from Youngstown, OH, I moved to Louisville in 2009 and have come to know the place inside out. My wife is originally from the Valley Station area. I proudly served in the Air Force, which taught me discipline, dedication, and the importance of service--qualities I now bring to my real estate career. I like spending time with my family and our pets (3 dogs and 2 cats who think they are dogs). I also work for the Cup Karts North America racing series. Hobbies/Interest

Spend time with my family, Travel the country racing Go-Karts with my grandson, Working on motorcycles, Going out with my wife of 25 years

Family

We have 1 daughter and we have 1 grandson. we have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Its almost a petting zoo and theres always pet hair on everything.

Pete worked for River City Wholesale for approximately 4 years. During those 4 years I was the Operations and Branch Manager and he was an excellent employee and friend. Pete was always ready to not just do his job as a CDL driver but take on and complete any tasks asked of him. I was glad to hear that he was pursuing a new career in real estate and am sure that he will excel in this just as he did in his previous career.

1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Do not make any credit purchases or open lines of credit

2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

pack and store almost everything. Declutter as much as possible, NO SMOKING in the house get rid of pet odors if there are any

4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

Buyer at the closing table looked at me after the Title company said that was everything he needed to sign. and he had a HUGE smile on his face and hugged me and said thank you, I could'nt have done it with out you.

5) How did you get started in Real Estate?

I enjoy working with people, plus my Brother owns his own Agency and the Realtor that we worked with when we sold and bought was amazing. So I went to work at the same company she works at.
