There simply aren't enough wonderful things to say about Peter and his team at Red Cedar. We were living across the country, had minimal understanding of the home buying process, and felt overwhelmed by horror stories about the current market. From our first Zoom meeting, Peter was knowledgeable and reassuring. He took the time to really understand what we were looking for and clarified any concerns that we had before we even got around to mentioning them! Thanks to his helpful tips, we were able to prepare everything we needed ahead of visiting so we could jump right in and be as successful as possible.Peter always made us feel like we were a top priority and constantly stayed in touch via text and email whenever we had questions about the process. He never once pressured us into a home and in fact warned us about a few houses that were either total money pits or had issues that might be easily overlooked/ignored by other realtors. He guided us on how to make a great offer that was both aggressive and reasonable, which landed us our forever home much faster than we ever imagined.He coordinated all documentation, got us in touch with necessary contacts, and still remains available for any follow up questions past closing. His commitment to carefully walking us through the buying process and ensuring that we were happy and comfortable with our home made this whole experience a total breeze. As a first time home buyer, I wanted to work with an agent who was going to be patient, attentive, knowledgable, and reliable. I was extremely nervous about making the plunge, but I am so glad I did it with Peter. From the very first moment we spoke, I had a good feeling, and I wasn't wrong.When seeing homes, Peter never pressured me and always pointed out potential issues or things I didn't think to look at being so less experienced. I was extremely thankful this. When submitting my offer, he was extremely helpful in making my offer competitive enough to be accepted on the first time. It was even the lowest offer on the table with no contingencies waived, which was super important to me. It just goes to show you, even in 2021, with the right realtor, you can make dreams happen!During closing, Peter was always available to answer questions and offer any advice. He has a great network of connections who can help you in closing dance of paperwork; it's a bunch of fun during closing. I very rarely write reviews so when I do, it is because my experience was unbelievably horrible or exceptional beyond belief. My experience with Red Cedar was the latter. Peter is amazing! He walked us through the whole process and made what could have been a stressful situation very enjoyable. We saw over 50 houses in the span of 3 months. Peter was always available for a phone call, even late at night. He shared the journey with us. When we found our we didn't get the house not once, but 3 times, he was there to encourage us and when we found out we got the home of our dreams, he was there to celebrate with us. If you are looking for somebody who has a ton of experience and takes the time to get to know you, Peter checks all the boxes and then some. I highly recommend Red Cedar!

We met some realtors at open houses, heard about some through other people, and like other purchases these days we went to the internet machine to perform research and read countless reviews. Peter Boscas and Red Cedar Real Estate stood out the most. From our first meeting/interview we knew we had made the right choice. Peter was genuinely interested in learning about us and helping us find the best home. He explained every aspect of the buying process and answered all of our questions along the way no matter how silly some of them seemed.While touring homes, we looked out the windows enjoying the views, envisioning where various furniture pieces would go and how we could make it our own, while Peter was subtly noticing the slight slant on a floor, a bad window seal, or other detractors we wouldnt have noticed. When it came time to make an offer, Peters expertise in the market and experience showed as he developed and recommended strategies to make our offers stand out above the rest. Peter was our guide/sage/Sherpa to keep us grounded so we didnt settle on something we didnt like, forego an inspection, or ultimately make a bad home investment. Buying a home during a pandemic, in a competitive market, is not an ideal situation, but we are glad we selected Peter and he was there to help us buy our home.
