Pete Thorpe was recommended to us by a realtor friend when my wife and I were looking to move to Pennsylvania. After reaching out to Pete, he immediately took my call and spent some time getting to know what type of home my family was in the market for and the general areas where we were searching. Pete explained the ins and outs of the current market conditions and was spot on with his analysis, as we were soon to find out. Both my wife and I were experienced homeowners/buyers having moved to/from three states in the past, so we were informed and engaged in the process. Pete recognized early on the type of clients we were and knew our needs. Pete was quick to respond anytime we wanted to schedule an appointment to see a house, which was critical in the current seller's market and given the fact we lived over an hour's drive from the targeted area. When Pete wasn't available, he quickly found a colleague to attend a showing with us. We kissed a lot of frogs before we eventually found our forever home. And when we did, Pete guided us masterfully through the process and ensured the offer we presented was accepted. Through no fault of ours or the sellers, a third party problem presented itself a few days after the offer was accepted. Pete delivered the bad news to us in a professional manner and assured us he would explore every option available to him in order to see that the sale would go through. We later learned from the seller that Pete's calm but assuring professionalism was inspiration to the seller to stand strong in the face of the third party problem which was resolved in the mutual favor of us and the seller in a matter of three days.
