As a first time home buyer I was very apprehensive about all the various steps involved with purchasing a new home, and in my particular case, having to meet all VA's requirements as well. Penny was a godsend. I saw a property online that i was interested in and requested more information. It turned out that Penny was representing the seller. She then put me on the right path in doing what was necessary to find and purchase a home. The most important one was taking her on as my agent :)Penny apparently works 24/7. She was extremely responsive in any communications with me, usually getting back to me within minutes regardless of the time of day, and this included weekends. At my request, she also worked closely with my lender and was able to shelter me from many calls that would have just stressed me out! She took care of everything, and scheduled all the necessary things with contractors and such. I dreaded the process necessary in purchasing a home for many years. If i knew it could be done so easily, i would have done it 20 years ago.

We were coming to N.C. from out of state, but we could do it another time. Not only did she get right back to me, she agreed to meet with us and show us some properties. We found out later she had given up a weekend at the shore with her husband to meet with us. After a second trip to N.C., and a dozen or so showings, we finally found a place we liked. Not only did she work out a great deal for us, she arranged for some repairs to be made to close the deal.
