What clients say about this agent....
Peggy was fantastic all around! She was essential to our first home purchase, all during the heat of the Pandemic market. For reference we closed on our Placentia home in October of 2021. Peggy was always responsive, went to bat for us, and was never afraid to negotiate. We parted ways with two realtors before Peggy and a close colleague referred her to us. Best decision ever. Its great that shes also a broker, really knew her stuff and helped ease our anxieties along the way. Thanks for getting us into our home Peggy!
I found Peggy on an internet search because i wanted an agent who could offer a rebate during this crazy market. I was quickly shown a few potential agents. Peggy was at the top of the list with a generous rebate offer. Unlike other agents who offer rebates, Peggy does her due diligence and goes to every home i wanted to check out with a report on each one. She treated me as if i was family to her. When it came to the home i eventually closed on, she was there every step of the way to make sure i wasnt getting taken advantage of. She looked out for my interest and went above and beyond. I recommended her to my inlaws and will refer her to future friends and family.
Peggy is hands down the best! The sale of our family home was in a Living Trust and she new exactly what steps to take to handle our unique situation. Peggy was able to price the property right to get interested buyer willing to pay top dollar. Her personality is very warm and friendly and she was always available by phone for questions. Peggy also has many resources if youre in need of home improvements to prepare your home for sale. She handles everything and it was a smooth, seamless transaction. Thank you Peggy!
I rarely write reviews and I have very high expectations of people I hire and maybe that's why I don't write a lot of reviews. I was working with a couple of agents until I met Peggy Aldinger. In my first conversation with her, I realize she is someone I need to help me to purchase a home. My wife and I found a home that checked off a lot of the items on our list and made a good faith offer to the seller and got accepted. We figured this would be a quick close, but we ran into a little problem in that the seller decided to back out of the deal. They were pulling various stunts to frustrate us and to get us to cancel. Without going into all the details of this transaction, Peggy played a vital role to make sure the transaction got closed and we got the keys to our dream home. She demonstrated the highest levels of negotiating skills (to get the lowest price for me the buyer and convinced the seller agent side it is to their best interest to not unethically back out of a contract that they signed); provided so much time and responsiveness to me that I was wondering if I was her only client; a thorough knowledge of real estate policies/laws to make sure her clients are not getting taken advantage of; and last, but not least, she demonstrated a genuine desire to help us realize our dream of owning the home we've spent so many months to find. If you work with Peggy, you will find a great real estate agent and a great person to know.
Per my personal experience working with Peggy, I will say she is a professional who proactively shares that helping hand with a clear hearted intention to support you and help you by holding your hand throughout the process. Of course, we all work for money however her primary intention is always to make one family happy, she understands you, your requirements, she is always ready to spend enough time with you. You will not realize when she will become a good friend of yours and will make you comfortable enough so you can discuss everything per your requirement for your new home. I know if I will write more everyone doesnt have time to read neither I have enough words to explain her personality. Per my personal experience, I will simply say just speak to her once and blindly trust her. She always considers ethics along with it being a financial deal, so she will do everything possible ethically and per-process to make it a good deal for you. Huge respect for Peggy for the way she supported us and for being such a nice human being and a great real estate professional with huge knowledge of the market and process.
Highly recommend! Very knowledgeable about the area and market, warm and friendly personality, and goes above and beyond. Always available to answer any questions and help with any issues, even after the process. Made the whole experience so smooth and much more fun!
Peggy, was very knowledgeable, professional and respectful of our goals as sellers. We recommend her to anyone who is looking to buy or sale. She was true joy for us to work with.
I inherited a home in Costa Mesa Ca that I needed to sell. I live in Washington State and my siblings live in Utah and Oregon. Needless to say, I had a problem trying to sell my home due to the fact that my family mostly lives out of state. I contacted Peggy Aldinger at Pacific Cove Realty to inquire about selling our home. She promptly did a market study showing comparable recently sold homes and homes that were listed for sale in Costa Mesa. We listed our home for sale and was immediately surprised at all the offers she presented to us. SELLERS BEWARE: We quickly found out about how unlicensed wholesalers offered us all cash with no repairs needed. We found out that these wholesalers had no interest in owning our home. They were actually trying to flip our home to another buyer concurrently with our escrow. During these escrow periods, the wholesale buyers would then try to get to price reduced so they could flip it to another buyer and make a quick buck. This is extremely frustrating to a seller and also disrupts the market as a whole. Peggy would would quickly identify these types of wholesale buyers and include a "Non-Refundable" deposit that these wholesalers wouldn't risk due to their shady practices. Some states already have a law against these wholesalers, just not California. Yet!!! We were very pleased how Peggy weeded out the flakes and brought us a traditional buyer and we closed escrow successfully in 3 weeks from acceptance. Another tribute to Peggy is how she has a long term business relationship with a mortgage lender that has available all types of lending services. Her long-term associate, Charmaine Clark, processes "Click and Close" , a division of Mid-America Mortgage. Charmaine showed us a myriad of financing opportunities available for prospective buyers to be Pre-Approved. She is able to fund an FHA 203K home improvement loan concurrently with a purchase loan at close of escrow. This enables a buyer to effectively design and construct a home remodel immediately after close of escrow. It's like buying a new home with your choice of preferred colors, flooring, windows, appliances, and kitchen/bathroom upgrades, etc, etc. That said, Peggy was very responsive with communicating each step of this process and implementing all necessary documentation to close escrow. We are very satisfied with Pacific Cove Realty's professional service with buyers and sellers alike, under all types of market conditions. I highly Recommend using Peggy at Pacific Cove Realty and the professional staff they have to offer.
Peggy Aldinger went above and beyond to help my elderly mother get her house sold when her actual Realtor was disorganized and lying to her and the Broker was bullying my mom. Peggy guided mom and was very instrumental in helping her get the house sold quickly. Peggy willingly put a lot of time in and when mom offered her financial compensation, Peggy wouldn't accept a dime! My mom and I are very grateful to Peggy and wish we would have chosen her as mom's Realtor to begin with because the whole process would have gone smoothly and my elderly mom would have realized $15,000-$20,000 more for her home. Peggy was delightful to work with and truly cares things work out the best for her clients even those who ended up not being her client like my mom. Peggy, we can't thank you enough!!! You're the best!
Peggy worked with me every step of the way to successfully list and sell my home. She was very patient as willing to answer any question I had and took time to explain every detail of the process. Thank you!!
