My husband and I were touring houses on our own when we met Paul: he was hosting an open house. We liked his candor, his friendliness, and his Spanish fluency (my native language). We decided to try working with him on our hunt for a home, and never had any regrets. Besides the standard necessities of a real estate agent (showing up for tours on time, fast turn-around on paperwork, knowledge of the market and neighborhoods, etc.), Paul has the "soft skills" which make such a difference, turning what could have been an exhausting march into a fun search (ok, not always _fun_ but generally enjoyable and never less than _pleasant_). He picked up on our preferences very quickly -- both in terms of what kind of house we liked, and in how we handled the tour/consider/offer process. There was no hard sales push, ever. With his help we sorted through some 20 house tours over six months, and made offers on a half-dozen (this was the early 2023 market -- very few houses on sale and a LOT of competition). Paul's predictions on how the bidding would play out were correct more often than not, which helped up present the most competitive offers we could afford.
