As executor of my parents' estate, it was my charge to sell their home of 60 years. I live out-of-state, and did not know where to turn in the Greater Cleveland area for realty assistance. They made referrals to several service professionals who were able to assist me in needed repairs to the house, as well as a service that would clear out the remaining 60 years of accumulated contents. Their office has fully embraced current technology, and I was able to e-sign all the requisite paperwork, and follow all showings and buyer comments online. I had gone through the Paratto team trying to buy a home even though I had heard that they only like to work with people preapproved with higher loan (300k- 500k) amounts ( I had been first time buyer approved for 150k at the age of 21). The agent they sent to meet me couldnt make it and never let me know so I was waiting in the driveway of this property that the owners still lived in. Paul Paratto himself showed up and showed me the home he seemed friendly and did apologize for the other guy not showing up. After explaining my needs to him he said he would put me in touch with his son to personally make sure my needs were met and that theyd help me find a home. I was called later and talked to a rushed son on the phone who clearly wasnt paying attention to my case and promised to call me back (even though he called me) at a better time and in the meantime he would send me some listings.Unsurprisingly I never received a call back nor did I receive any listings. Paul himself never checked back in after assuring me that they would personally see to it that my family would be in good hands. All in all I wouldnt recommend any of the Paratto team or family members.

Paul came to my house and estimated it's value, a number that I really liked. I was under the impression that he was familiar with Mentor, but apparently this was not the case. A week later I signed on with him but the asking price was 5% lower. The price got reduced 2 more times. I missed out on a prime selling window and eventually the house sold for about 12% less than the original estimate. He did not return my call when I needed to discuss an offer, and possibly as a result of that the offer fell through. His team failed to return emails in a timely fashion and sometimes not at all. Then, get this--an interoffice email accidentally got forwarded to me. Apparently it is fun to mock your clients.
