1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
The first thing we need to do is get you connected with a lender. This is important so that we know what price range homes to be looking at. I have had a young client that thought he could only qualify for $150,000 home. After talking to the lender, he was actually qualified for $350,000.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with first time homeowners, investors, move-up buyers, and commercial buyers. I have sold several of my clients 5 homes or more over the past 17 years.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I owned a daycare when I first started in Real Estate, and I wanted to have something to do in my spare time. I eventually sold the daycare and went fulltime in Real Estate.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have worked with short sales, foreclosures, estate sales, and many couples selling their home due to a divorce.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
In todays market, it is very important to make sure your home is priced correctly. The longer it is on the market, the more a potential buyer will think something is wrong with the home.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
When my son was 9 years old I was showing a client homes. The showings had gone longer than expected and we had to run by the school and pick he and the buyers daughter up from school. Fast-forward 14 years. I just recently sold this girl that I met when she was 9 her very first home.
