Neal is an all around nice guy! As a single woman homeowner he was the neighbor who wrapped my pipes when it got cold and I was out of town, and fixed my fence when my dog kept getting out. It was really a no brainer for me as to who to trust when it came to selling my house. Neal honestly and kindly told me what I needed to do to get my house ready, then recommended the right people to do repairs, paint, and stage my house. Let me start by saying, Neal is like the jack of all trades of real estate. Seriously, he's amazing. My husband and I have bought houses all over the U.S. and Neal is by far, the best real estate agent I've ever worked with. He made my move from Seattle to Texas so easy. I trusted him so much I bought a house and didn't even see it in person. Thats how much confidence I had in him. His integrity as a human being is what makes him an amazing Realtor. He really cares about his clients. After we bought our house, if I needed anything, he was happy to help. He even collected and held all our mail till we got to Texas. He's that kind. There's not enough room in this review for me to say how much we have appreciated him going way above and beyond. If anyone is looking for a realtor, look no further because Neal is your man. There were not that many homes with land - 20 maybe. Neal made us a list of properties he thought we should look at, but was good at working in ones we found on our own, too. I appreciated his flexibility in the search phase. Though we were lured by the beauty of some of these homes, Neal was adamant at keeping us out of homes that had been flooded. Of the 10 or so that were left, only two of them were in well rated schools. We decided to make an offer on one, and the sellers were not very willing to negotiate. Neal recommended advice specific to rural properties, including a separate septic tank inspection -- something we would not have thought about. We were glad he did because we found the septic tank was non-functional, illegal and we would have been stuck with an $9,000 bill after we bought the home to repair it if he hadn't given us this advice. We sweated through a dark period with the hardball sellers and thought we would have to give up our dream of having some land. But Neal and his associates helped us through the negotiation and we got in days before school started. Mission accomplished! He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and makes you aware of things you may want to consider. He was always quick at returning our calls or texts, which is important for the many time-sensitive things you deal with in real estate transactions. And he's just a nice guy. I enjoyed learning about the area in our chats on drives out to the country. I highly recommend Neal to anyone buying or selling in the Houston area.
