Pat was very knowledgeable of the properties she showed me. With great suggestions and attentive to the details I am most interested in. She was very informative and I could see she has a lot of experience as a Realtor and her ability to make me a priority and keep the momentum going while looking for the best home.
My family and I worked with Pat for a couple of months. We looked at a lot of homes. We finally found one home we liked and put in an offer. I think she was tired of dealing with us by this point. She recommended us into signing a purchase agreement with a 5 day inspection period and 2 weeks until closing. After the fact, I found out that a standard agreement would usually be a 14 day inspection period. (My mother who does not speak English and young brother whom has never bought a home before trusted her.) They asked for her recommendation and of course went with her knowledge. We all weren't able to get an inspector out there until day 4 of the inspection period. (Pat set this appointment up with the inspector herself.) On day 5, we asked for the items on the inspection report to be fixed. Pat said she doesn't recommend to ask for that. In the end, we felt like she screwed us over and did not help us. She rushed the sale and we lost our deposit. Maybe she wanted to just get rid of us or just to make her percentage. Who knows.. and yes, of course, we did complain to Century 21. They offered to fix all of the broken items in the house after we decided we didn't want it anymore with the help of Pat making us feel uncomfortable to sign the closing. That's very interesting.Lesson learned: don't trust anyone
