Carmela was a fantastic agent to work with, she made the process of buying a home as simple as possible for me. Carmela was always able to respond quickly to questions and issues, and get answers just as fast. She was constantly communicating and updating me as well as things happened. Carmela was patient with me as I adjusted to the reality of the market in 2023, and she also did tons of work behind the scenes that I didnt realize needed to be taken care of as a first-time homebuyer and she also ensured I took care of everything on my end as needed. She was able to get me into houses as they went on the market, before they were even visible on Zillow, etc. and helped me through the offer process, making it bearable. She honestly made the process fun and enjoyable, while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. I was lucky to have her as my agent, and I will be recommending Carmela to anyone looking to buy a place on the island in the future.

I would only use Carmela as a realtor and heres why; shes someone you can trust, thats personable and that listens to you, instead of a used car salesman. She never quit on me. She was very attentive. Her knowledge was endless. Her opinion and recommendations were always based my desires/wants that our family needed. I was heard for once! A homeowner accepted our offer and again each stage she was constantly making sure everything went smoothly and efficiently. The inspection came and we decided that the house had deeper issues internally, that werent a quick fix so we passed on the house. Soon after a family member sold us their house off the market. Obviously, she didnt make commission and yet she still helped us with that purchase making sure our family had everything we needed. She is a wealth of knowledge! Of course, we got her a nice gift for miles spent on her car, hours of phone calls, texts and emails. Shes now part of the family still checking in on how we are doing. Weve never had a realtor be so personable I could NEVER do this process again with out her. Several friends have used her because of my experience and they say the same thing. Shes gold. The house buying process isnt easy and if you want ease just give her the reigns and she will get the job done. Take my advice, youll thank me!
