There was an acute shortage of low-to-mid tier listings and buyers were racing in before the Federal Reserve raised the benchmark rates too high. On top of that, there were a lot Millennial buyers, more affluent Bay Area transplants, and investors shopping the low-to-mid market in the Sacramento region.My first four offers were bested by cash buyers and/or bidding wars.
