We gave Ruth a very difficult set of challenges. We only knew we wanted property "in the area" -- could not be specific about the budget, the type of property or even whether we intended this property to be the first or second home. Because we were conducting our search from 5 hours away, she had still another set of "jobs" to do to help us. She very effectively moved us through a thought process to identify our goals, designed and organized searches that educated us on the area, and muscled through multiple last minute changes and mood shifts...and somehow managed to be our friend, too. How she made all this pleasant for us is a mystery. From our offer through our first week on the new property, she gets credit for at least 90% of our ability to find and engage lawyers, inspectors, contractors and community resources.
