We then had to quickly prep our current home in an effort to get it on the market ASAP. Nicky McDonnell was a Godsend for both transactions. We were in a bidding war for the first home and she kept us calm and reasonable through that painful process. Nickys sense of what todays buyer is looking for helped us plan some strategic renovations before we were ready to put our house on the market. Her network of contractors made it possible to get everything completed and staged in a month. Which is a monumental task. We had a contract on our old home the first weekend in went on, which was incidentally, was the same weekend we closed and moved into our new home. We had one serious contingency for the house we were selling and once again, Nickys network provided just the right contractor to clear the contingency prior to the 30 day close. Not an easy task! She deftly worked with our other contractors to help clear all of the contingencies requested from a nervous first time buyer and for that we are eternally thankful. You cannot work with a savvier and level-headed realtor than Nicky McDonnell. Oh, and did we mention? A darn nice, down to earth person as well.
