About Nick Fratz-Orr

Born and Raised in Garrett County, I've had the privilege of growing up in this beautiful area I call home for 29 years. With an athletic 7-year background in professional motocross racing, I've utilized my skills in competitive racing at the highest level in the world and have applied those skills towards my career in real estate sales. This foundation has given me incredible opportunities to work with fantastic people throughout the purchase or sale of their home here at Deep Creek Lake and Garrett County. I've developed a great passion for winning and helping my clients achieve their real estate goals. Work ethic, effective communication and organization at a young age has become the backbone of my business and success in the business. Growing up with my dad, Rich Orr, who has played a huge role in many of the larger developments here at Deep Creek Lake, I've had the opportunity to learn and feed off of his ideas and knowledge of real estate in our unique market. At age 29, i've applied my work ethic and skillset to assert myself as a top producing agent in the area with over 400 closed transactions and over $130,000,000 in closed sales volume. In 2019, I became interested in renovating homes. Since then, I've completely renovated 3 homes and resold two of those homes. The renovation and remodel process is something I have learned and aquired a niche for, which has helped me guide many of my clients through their ideas and future plans. In 2021, I successfully closed 105 transaction sides as a solo agent. This was the most of any solo agent in our market. I can not say enough good things about Nick. From the moment we requested a viewing of one of his properties to the moment we signed the paperwork for our dream home, Nick went above and beyond to support us. His knowledge of Garrett County and all things in between was an invaluable resource. He was available day and night, 24/7 and responded to any of our questions/concerns in an extremely timely fashion. Since we ended up buying a fixer upper, there was quite a bit of negotiation that took place and Nick represented our position regardless of how much he probably thought we were crazy. Nick even went out of his way to work with a contractor on our behalf to get an estimate on some major renovations we needed to make. Nick has a vast local network and will happily give recommendations for contractors (even after we closed on the house). I would not hesitate to work with Nick again or recommend him to anyone looking for a real estate agent in Garrett County. His dedication to his craft, his local community, and to his clients is second to none.

Nick was very professional and prompt to respond and attentive from the start. Not only does he know the Deep Creek Lake market but he also had all the insight on some Maryland State jurisdiction rules that I was not aware of as an out of state seller. I would highly recommend Nick if you are looking for prompt professional service, and someone who knows an sells homes for the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time. This has been the best experience I had selling a house!!!

Nick was a terrific realtor for me because he really listened to what I wanted to look for in a house. He also was very quick in relaying information either to me or from me. He has a very good knowledge of the area. Nick was very helpful during negotiations on my house with the seller and got me the best deal he possibly could! I really appreciated all the time and effort he put into his job, he is very diligent in his work.
