I should have written this review a year ago! (So sorry Nick:) Reason being, I did not know how to put into words how heartfelt, happy and blessed I felt to have met Nick Dowling as a Realtor. My husband and I are originally from CA and wanted to move to the Black Hills. We knew nothing about South Dakota and had no family or friends there at all. We just needed help finding a place to get out of California as soon as possible! I had contacted multiple Realtors in South Dakota and NEVER got a response back. Finally one day, not too far from when I was reaching out to other Realtors, I got a response back from Nick Dowling! I was sooo happy. I probably e-mailed him back and forth a billion times to let him know how interested we were in Rapid City and South Dakota. Haha! However, he always responded back. I told him we were new to the area and had no relatives or friends and had never even been out to South Dakota before. Knowing all of this, he was still very interested and responsive to us and kept in touch. Most realtors would not even think about responding back at all. #1. Our house was not even up for sale. #2. We had never even visited South Dakota before. #3. Who knows, we might have flown out and decided that South Dakota was not for us. #4. The market was really A?hotA?! Why would they waste their time when they can make a quick buck with lots of people who have already sold their home and wanted to buy a home ASAP? Well, to make a long story short. We flew out to Rapid City. Nick went out of his way to greet us there and even showed us a few homes and told us places to visit. He made us feel very welcome to the area. He actually became our very first friend in Rapid City, South Dakota:) After experiencing a week in Rapid City and surrounding towns, we were able to make a decision. We knew we had found the right state and city to live in! So we immediately flew back to CA, found a realtor and put our house up for sale. Once we sold the home, we relocated our jobs, and rented a motel for two weeks so we could find our perfect home. The very next day Nick showed us three homes that we were interested in. The first two homes were not quite what we had expected, the third house we were very much interested in and it was going to be sold fast. However, Nick said A? before you decide on this house, I want you to take a look at this other home that is about to go up for sale. I think you are going to like the homeA?. So, knowing we might lose a little time on bidding for that home, we trusted Nick and followed him over to the house that he wanted us to see. Well, as soon as we drove up we could not believe our eyes! Nick had not only surprised us, but he had saved the very best house for last!!! I walked in and was shocked! It was a 1959 Ranch Style home, corner lot, over a 1/4 acre, third best street in Rapid City, beautiful area and a mostly all remodeled home. We were immediately sold!!! Right away Nick had given us contacts to get established into the area and also businesses to help us finish up a few final touches to our newly restored home. We were so blessed and grateful for Nick to find our dream home and in one day too! It is now our forever home! A year later, words cannot say as to how I feel about everything he has done for us. We are so happy to have met Nick. Til' this day he still checks in from time to time to see how we are doing. I also try to return a favor if I hear of any businesses that are available and can help him out as well. Nick has been a true blessing in our lives and will always be our very first friend in Rapid City! I highly recommend Nick Dowling as your Realtor. He listens to detail, is very responsive, honest, considerate and genuinely cares about his clients and tries to find exactly what they are looking for. I am sure you will find Nick to be a A?gemA? of a Realtor. I know he was a complete blessing to us and I will never forget all that he has done for us!:)

Nick was wonderful to work with! He made moving from ND to SD so much easier. He was very responsive and gave us full videos of houses that we couldnt make it down to look at. With the market being so hot, he was very fast getting into homes we were interested in. I could gush on and on about him. He even gave us the sweetest gifts in our new home after we closed. Nick really went above and beyond for us!

Nick was awesome! Super helpful and very accommodating. He helped us get the perfect house for us for a great deal! He was very easy to see houses with quickly in a very fast market. He was very knowledgeable about the area and houses in general. He helped us recognize all of the houses that needed a lot more work then people let on about in the listings.

I had a great experience buying a house with Nick. He started showing me houses about two or three hours after I first called the office. He always responded very quickly to any questions that I had. He help the process go very smoothly and I would highly recommend him.

He got us in to houses we wanted to see. Gave us good home advise on what to look for to have loan approval. Kept us open minded at are options. When it came to making an offer and working with us on closing issues he was always a phone call or text away.
