I feel so lucky that I used Neal Alie as my realtor for not only my home sale, but for my purchase as well. First of all Neal goes way beyond any expectation you might have of a realtor. When I first had him go through my home, he gave me an idea of the home's value, but then he created a report of suggested improvements to increase the value. He came up with a rough timeline and discussed with me the optimum time at which the house should be listed. During the next few months, Neal came by, checked on progress and we continually discussed cost of improvements versus potential profit. When the house went on the market, we received offers within a few days. He walked me through the whole process and sold my home for more than I ever expected. Immediately, we started the process of looking for the next home. We had several discussions while looking at homes to help him fine tune what we were looking for. At all times, he never gave us the feeling of rushing into anything, and he never hesitated to let us know when he felt it was not a good fit for us. It was a very hot sellers market so anytime we found a decent home, there would be multiple offers that we would have to compete with. At one point we had opened an escrow on a home, but had to pull out for various reasons. Neal had no problem helping us through a very complicated situation. Finally, we found a home that actually had been the best one yet. Again with multiple offers in place, Neal managed to get our offer up in front and we got the home. Thank goodness, we had Neal and all of his experience there at every step of the way to get us where we wanted to be. Many of us know a friend of a friend in the real estate business. My advice is don't go that route. Go with someone who has integrity, experience, and compassion for his customers. Go with Neal Alie.
