One recent experience included a young married couple. They were looking to buy a town home instead of routinely wasting money on rent. They were looking to move to transfer to Jacksonville from Michigan in order to teach at a local school. I personally bought a home in 2013 with my wife and it inspired me to look into real estate sales. I had been doing IT work at a company but looking for an opportunity to move up. In the process they gave me a personality exam and it showed I was heavily a people person. They asked why I was in IT and my answer was because I need to make money. Essentially, I had been working in a role that didn't fit my personality and Real Estate fulfills everything that I was looking for in my perfect job. I can see myself working in this industry for the next 40 years.
