Pentz Homes Keller Williams Classic Realty N.W. It is hard to know who to use as a Realtor, this may help from the many choices. At 11am on 4/20/20 was the set closing date for the sale of my house. Nate Pentz (Pentz Homes) calls and tells me that there will be no closing at 11am. A short time later he calls back and says there will be no closing on 4/20/20 at all and in fact they don't know when they will be able to close. Nate Pentz told me the buyer knew about it on Wednesday, 4/15/20, 6 days earlier. I had already moved out of my house on 4/19/20, stored my belongings unnecessarily for what turned out to be 6 weeks (didn't move back for many reasons). Throughout this buying and selling process the many problems that occurred could have been easily avoided with an active advocate that kept me updated with the changes and vital information happening from day to day from the other agent, mortgage co. and title co. This could easily be done over the phone with minimal time invested. There were no regular, frequent updates to me as to the status of the sale and buying transactions. I received important information several times when it was too late to be helpful, and in this example was a detriment. Nate Pentz was paid very well. I called Nate Pentz after I had moved into my new home and told him I wanted him to pay for my expenses and hardship due to his failures (me moving out of my house for 6 weeks before I had to) and I would do what I could. He responded okay, I never heard any more from him. A week after that, I called Keller Williams Classic Realty N.W. I spoke with the Broker in charge of that office and Pentz Homes, Greg Hartos, and told him what I had told Nate Pentz. He said to give him 2 days, I never heard back from him even though I paid for a sale, a buy and two document storage fees to Pentz Homes (that cost me over $10,000.00). After speaking with a different real estate broker/agent, an attorney and contacting the Real Estate Association it is clear that legal action is required, however it is also clear that legal action is not reasonable because of the cost compared to the gain. The Real Estate Association and in arbitration they will argue that the poor managing did not matter legally because of me allowing dates to be changed in order to get the sale of my home completed, and not having to start all over.
Nate was recommended to us by the realtor we used to sell our house in a different part of the state. Nate was excellent, putting up with our extensive list of requirements while we searched. Even so, we found a house fairly quickly and Nate was able to get us through the process smoothly and relatively stress free. Should I ever find myself looking to buy or sell again, I will definitely be contacting Nate and his team!
Nate came to us via a family referral and was a pleasure to work with. He 'got' us from the very start and was able to provide invaluable input - honest, professional, and tailored to our needs and wants - on all of the properties we looked at. Moving from out of state, on a very tight timeline to get our daughter into a new school district, he jumped into the process immediately with gusto and he navigated us through what could have been a very stressful process, making it considerably easier and, what's more, fun. We'd heartily recommend Nate to anyone looking to buy a home in the Greater Twin Cities Area.
The only reason I went with four stars on process expertise was because we were only Nates second customers (!), yet we felt at the time (and absolutely know now!) that we were still in wonderful hands. I couldnt more highly recommend him to be your realtor, too!
Nate walked us through every step of the process and listened to what and where we were interested in buying. He kept us the focus of our home buying experience and was willing to answer any and all questions we had. When we found a house we liked he went to work making sure we knew what we were doing every step of the way and always working very hard for us the entire time.
I had a great experience purchasing a home with Nate Pentz as my realtor! After initially contacting Nate for a consultation as a first time homebuyer, he made time to meet with me within a couple days. He explained the process, answered my questions, and asked me questions to find out what I was looking for. Nate sent me a link to a home listing the next week that was perfect! He set up a showing for the following weekend and when I decided to make an offer on the house he worked quickly to submit my offer and get it accepted. Nate kept me up to date on the progress every step of the way and was always available to answer my call, texts, and emails. It was a pleasure working with Nate and I will be sure to recommend him to my friends and family!
We had a great experience working with Nate on the sale of our previous home and the purchase of our new one. Nate is a hard worker and has a great personality. We would highly recommend working with him.
Nate was excellent to work with. He is down-to-earth, approachable, not pushy. We happened to have a fairly straightforward purchaseaEUR"no competing bids and minimal negotiationaEUR"but all was very efficient and smooth. We developed a great rapport with Nate and have already recommended him to friends!
Nate gave us good advice on what to do to get the house ready to sell and what to do once the house went on the market. Once it went on the market, within 3 days we had 7 offers above the asking price. He provided good advice to help us decide which offer to accept. This was our first house sale and we sometimes felt we were missing information. Nate seemed sure of himself, but we sometimes weren't sure we understood what was happening. A little more communication, explanation and clarification, especially for people new to selling and buying houses might be more helpful to them.
Nate was recommended to us by some friends. He helped us buy our first house, which we love! He was flexible, available, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. He made the process a smooth one. I would highly recommend him!
