I had always been involved in real estate transactions and loved the idea of helping people with major life decisions. I am an endlessly curious person and love to hear the stories of all the people I know so being a Realtor seemed like a natural fit. The fact that I had already owned my own businesses gave me a sense of confidence since as a Realtor, you are self employed and do not earn a commission until your client has gotten everything they wanted. Again, this was similar to my motto in my hair styling business so it was easy to transition selling to real estate and changing people's lives.
