At 19 years old, I found myself framing homes as my very first job. From there, my love of real estate grew and expanded. I transitioned into landscaping, then kitchen and bath renovations, then right into custom tile work, and finally into woodworking. In college I was able to buy my first home, completely renovate it, and sell it. Most people were still hunting for their first job out of school, and I was ready for bigger and brighter things. I was working in my family-owned business in Colorado, and it was a prominent renovation company. I was also managing a Home Depot and teaching all of the flooring classes to beginners and experts alike. My love of teaching and educating grew from this hands-on experience of being able to show someone how to create something beautiful from nothing. From Hawaii, to Arizona, and now North Carolina, I have a wide base of experience and education for all types of real estate markets. In 2010, I began selling real estate in Arizona and finally decided to become a Realtor to finish rounding out my journey. I worked for a large Firm, where I was able to be both a listing specialist and buyer agent specialist. We also specialized in listing HUD homes, and I was able to take my knowledge of renovation and repairs to the next level with first time HUD homebuyers. In 2014, I moved my family to North Carolina, where I could experience all 4 seasons. After Colorado, Hawaii, some time in St. Thomas, and Arizona, this was a welcome change. Within a year of selling in North Carolina, I was offered an opportunity I could not turn down. I became the Team Lead for a well-known expansion Team, and I managed over 75 agents. I helped build the Team, enacted training protocols, created systems and platforms, and mentored hundreds of agents in multiple states. I truly enjoyed working on all sides of the transaction with the Expansion Team, but at the end of the day I wanted to spend more time with my young children and decided to move back into listing and selling homes as an individual agent. I want to be available for my kids as they grow up, and I want to be at every basketball game. I also, want to be able to spend more time with each individual client, and to be able to help mentor and volunteer more. Since my real estate career began I have bought, sold, and remodeled multiple homes, so let me put all of that knowledge and experience to work for you! My greatest joy is in helping someone discover what could be through the renovation process, and planning the steps to get there. My hope is to become your trusted consultant. If you want to buy a Home, let me help. If you are thinking about selling your Home, let's plan it out together.
