Mike Brown

Hello, my name is Mike Brown, and I want to help you take control of your buying and selling process. I began my real estate career back in 2019, whole selling off-market properties before getting my real estate license in August of 2022. I decided to become a real estate agent so I could help families with home ownership and build equity to change their family legacy for the better. I want to help my clients solve the problem of stress by helping them understand that, in the buying and selling process of homes, there are things out of my and their control. However, we will focus on the aspects we can control, to make the transaction smooth and as stress-free as possible. My expectation for myself has always been to put people first and assist them the best I can. My mission statement is to take control of the things in my life that I can control, and the things that I can't, I allow God or the forces of nature to take the course. It has eased my stress and I want it to help ease the stress of my clients as well. I've had quite the journey that got me to where I am now. I graduated college with two bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice and, two master's degrees, an M.A. in Psychology, and an MBA in Business Administration. Having a degree in psychology allows me to understand the mindset of buyers and sellers alike: for the buyer, the tension that comes with buying a home for the first time, and for the seller, selling a home for the right place and at the right time. My degree in Business helps me translate the right number for my clients and have a full comprehension of the housing market. Now, I have owned a mental health agency for about 10 years. Before that and becoming a realtor, I worked for CPS in Texas, conducting investigations of reports of abuse/neglect/sex trafficking of children for over three and a half years. Prior to that, I also owned a cleaning business and was a Juvenile Probation Officer for over 7 years. I understand the importance of family and family values. I have successfully raised children that are grateful, considerate of others, hard-working, and dedicated. It takes work to create a strong family, and that is why I chose to help families buy and sell homes in the best conditions possible. Why should I work for you? Because with my clients, I "work" with them, I don't "deal" with them like most people in the service industry. I am passionate, caring, knowledgeable, understanding, and non-judgmental. I am slow to speak and quick to listen. I set expectations, not goals, and I always put people over profit. I am here for you, not for the money.
