Purchasing a home requires thought and planning. Most buyers start by "window shopping" online for homes. This gives you an idea of what's available. When you're ready to start looking at homes, it's time to make a phone call. If you have a relationship with a lender, call them and ask to get prequalified for a loan. It's not as scary as it sounds. Your lender will ask questions about your income, debt and job history. He uses this information to make a guesstimate of what you will qualify to borrow and issues you a letter stating this number. If you don't have a lender, call me. I refer lenders who have shown that they close loans on time and who make the process as understandable as possible for the buyer. Once I know what your budget is, I find out what your needs and wants are for your home. My goal is to find everything on your list within your budget if it's out there. As a lifetime resident of the Conway/Myrtle Beach area, I know the market exceptionally well, and am committed to finding you a home you'll love.

Selling a home takes a thick skin. Buyers have specific needs and wants and, we have to present your home in a way that showcases those things. HGTV has made home shoppers have high expectations. They expect homes to be well kept and hopefully up to date. The main thing is that the home is clean and clear of clutter. At our initial consultation, I make suggestions of things you can do to make your home as appealing as possible. My goal is to help you prepare your home for sale so that you can net the most money possible from the sale. I position your home's price so that we can take advantage online search results and present your home with its best face forward so that home buyers want to make an appointment to see your home.

I've worked with all kinds of clients. My clients range from first time home buyers looking for budget friendly properties, buyers looking to up size with a luxury budget, investors, banks with foreclosures, sellers with luxury homes, sellers with dated homes, families who need to sell the home of a deceased family member, young people, older people, and everything in between. I love working with all clients, because at the end of the day, the goal is the same. I want to help each client achieve their real estate goal. I do so with a commitment to keeping you informed, doing what I say I will do, and being reachable when you have questions or concerns. Exceeding your expectations is my goal.

I'm fond of all of my transactions. I get to know my clients and develop a relationship with them. Every transaction has its drama...home inspections, negotiations, etc can get folks emotional. At the end of the transaction, as we sit around the closing table, we remember the ups and downs and smile and laugh as we celebrate the completion of the process. It's a great feeling to be part of that on every transaction.

I've always enjoyed looking online at properties for sale. After I was no longer teaching, I decided I'd get my real estate license and maybe sell real estate "part time." Well, it turned out that I loved the challenges and excitement of the work, meeting people and helping them achieve a goal, and the creativity of marketing a property. Part time turned into "all the time," and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm a Certified Residential Specialist. The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the professional designation offered by the Council of Residential Specialists. The highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field, the CRS designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience, production and education. Only 3% of Realtors have this designation. For my clients, this means that I have up to date and high level training on the strategies needed to make buying or selling as easy and positive for you as possible. I'm also a Broker in South Carolina and North Carolina. Transitioning from the salesperson license to the Broker license means I took an additional 60 hours of training in South Carolina, 90 more in North Carolina, and passed state and national tests to achieve a level of knowledge to serve provide an unmatched level of service.
