We are so grateful we found Mike. He was referred to us with the highest praises by the property manager of the vacation rental we stayed in Cape Coral. Before our visit I contacted Mike to tell him what we were interested in so he arranged for tours of multiple houses. We knew it would be 2 years before we could retire and talked with him about purchasing a house and using it as a vacation rental until we could move down from CT. Mike kept us up to date on new listings. There were more than a few houses that I really liked from pictures when we were back home. What I saw were beautiful renovations, new open concept kitchens and gorgeous updated bathrooms. Mike, with his wealth of knowledge of building and construction saw shoddy work and knew it would be a disappointment and not worth our while to fly down to see. Finally 'the one' hit the market. Mike arranged to get into the house to do a live video walk through for us that day. Before getting to know Mike I could not imagine putting an offer on a house after only seeing it virtually but we have complete trust in him. He knows what he is doing. He has lived in Cape Coral for 17 years and knows the area well. His professional opinion is solid. He is quick to point out the pros and cons of a house. When he sees a house he immediately knows what renovations to do, explains the process and knows who to call. He has a very good idea of cost because he has helped many other clients connect and follow through with renovations as well as his own homes. His immediate reaction seeing this home was 'this is it'. This is a really good home at a reasonable price in this market. Make an offer. It checked all the boxes. Our offer was accepted the next day so we drove down to see it in person. What I didn't realize was that Mike asked the owner of the vacation rental agency I had previously connected with to be there with him to meet us! She thought it was a great house and agreed to furnish it and set it up for vacation rentals. She started making her plans for painting and furnishings, and Mike explained the purchasing process in Florida. Mike took care of everything. He was there for the inspection. He emailed numbers to call to set up the utilities, lawn care and a list of agents to call for homeowners insurance. All was done for us with the best result. Mike Kase is professional, competent, knowledgeable of the area and very attentive. He truly wants the best for his clients and goes above and beyond before and after closing.
