This review is way way way LONG over due. I am a very picky person and the person that the VA connected us with was not cutting it for me. I found Mike through my own in depth research. So, I quickly called and set something up to meet him. He didn't know this but I had a list of things my realtor needed to check off. When we met, he was on time, very professional, came prepared, was able to answer all our questions. I felt very confident that he was the perfect person to help us sell our home AND purchase a home. I really wanted someone who was very knowledgeable in the area that we were looking for. He helped us price our home at a price where it would allow more people to come see it and we ended up getting a lot of offers in the first 2 days of showing it including an offer over 50k, selling the house was easy. It was finding a home where I really put Mike to work. Remember, I said I am picky? I didn't settle for just any home and here is where Mike shinned above and beyond. In particular there were two homes that we really discussed putting in offers. Although Mike could have said go for it and in the end he would have made more money and would have been done with my long search for the perfect home that checked ALL my boxes, he asked us if he could give us his own opinion and thoughts. He was honest and told us that the homes were ridiculously over priced and if it were him he wouldn't buy it. He would explain why and go into detail about his thoughts. Anytime I wanted to see a home he was on it, he worked quickly and made things happen. In the end, he was able to get the owners of the house where we ended up purchasing to not do their weekend showing and accept our offer and pull the home off the market. He assured us the neighborhood was good and the money we were spending in this market was good for what we were getting. I always felt like he would be honestly and let us know if he felt the neighborhoods weren't good or the homes were over priced. That is a very important quality in a realtor...HE CARED for our family and wanted to make sure we were buying in a good place and we were happy. Honestly, if Mike is around again whenever/if ever we decide in the future to sell our home, he will be the first person I call. He went above and beyond, professional, knowledgable, friendly, responsive, and helpful. He has it all, if you are looking for a realtor he just won't disappoint. He is great!
