About Michael Fletcher

I am a real estate generalist practicing in rural South East Ohio. I have the experience of a commercial specialist due to many years spent as an appraiser. After 18 years as a commercial/general real estate appraiser I also spent 12 years as a retirement planning consultant. I've found my calling in real estate sales. I've worked with large and small appraisal firms and over 50 MAI appraisers. I spent a few years as the region chief appraiser for Chase Bank AZ during the S&L Crises. I served as a financial services representative for VALIC, ING and New England-METLIFE specializing in retirement planning and financial services. These experiences allow me to offer a broader perspective than most real estate agents. I'm no longer writing appraisals or financial plans, but that training goes a long way towards making me better at serving client needs as a Realtor. Over-all, I enjoy getting to know and meet new people, and I find a great deal of satisfaction in the service-based nature of the real estate profession.
