The act of finding and purchasing a home unseen, from 4400km away is daunting/nauseating/crippling. In this current market, even moreso. It couldn't be done, I'd protest. It shouldn't be done... at least not without the right co-piolet. On a wing and a prayer, a friend referred an angel. A realtor, turned confident/mentalist/motivational speaker. Imagine a realtor incorporating, firstly your needs; secondly, your desires; thirdly, intangibles you never thought of. Then, keeps you on budget; whether you'd prefer to be house rich and pocket poor or otherwise.I have a ton of respect for Cassandra. Making trips from Portland, down the central coast to eyeball a prize for myself. She respected my limits, both monetarily and physically. Sometimes, reining me in, keeping me within means.All those trips, video uploads, photos, and her perspective helped me feel closer to the action and vibe.Strong market analyst, networker and ethics beyond reproach. Weaknesses were never glossed over, but addressed with a strong network of allies. Esoteric financial question...to the network... answeredAnyway, our first and last tAate-A!-tAate was at 11pm in a parking lot. Where she had stayed up long past ritual and handed me the keys and a plant. How sweet is that?The keys to my dream beach cottage. My fourth dwelling, which should have been a complete nightmare. Was tempered by a miracle. The best realtor of the lot.
