Melissa Rubenstein

Melissa Rubenstein is a top producing residential and commercial real estate sales associate at Christie's International Real Estate Group, based out of the company's Ridgewood headquarters. Prior to her career in real estate, she was a practicing real estate lawyer at two prestigious New York City-based law firms. She transitioned her love of real estate into a fast-paced career selling new construction condominiums in Manhattan, even appearing in an episode of the hit reality TV show Selling New York. Over the past decade, she has built a successful business representing buyers, sellers and investors throughout Northern New Jersey and New York State. Melissa is passionate about helping her residential and commercial clients achieve all of their real estate goals. Melissa is a resident of Wyckoff where she lives with her two children. In 2017, she was elected to the Wyckoff Township Committee and has served as Committeewoman and Director of the Finance Committee for the past 5 years, as well as terms as Fire Commissioner and Police Commissioner. In 2021, Melissa became only the second female Mayor of the Township of Wyckoff. She has earned several prestigious real estate industry awards since starting her career in New Jersey, including the Top Realtor(R) Award from Bergen Magazine twice and the NJ REALTORS(R) Circle of Excellence Sales Award(R) in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Melissa was also recently featured in BC Real Producers Magazine, telling the story of her journey from law to real estate and how she has successfully grown her business over the past decade to help so many clients. She recently launched the "Moves by Melissa" podcast series which delves into topics including the current state of the real estate market, how to get top dollar for your property, preparing your home for sale, tips for searching for a mortgage and real estate best practices for parties going through divorce. With her experience and affiliation with Christie's International Real Estate, Melissa is able to utilize Christie's superior marketing resources and their unmatched customer service to ensure their clients experience a stress-free transaction.
