Working with Melissa was always very easy and professional especially for someone like myself who had never sold a home before. She was very clear and to the point about the order of business and the way things needed to be done in order to have an easy and successful sale of my home. She also used professional photographers as part of her listing method and it made our house look amazing and we had multiple visits per day from people while it was listed and it made the property sell very quickly. She always made her expectations very clear for when we were having an open house of what the home should look like in order for it to attract the best customers and get the highest offers, which I appreciated because we had multiple interested parties! Melissa was very knowledgeable about the different types of loans and offers that people sent in and help to choose the best offer of those that were submitted that would have the easiest chance of moving quickly through the selling process. She always made us feel like we were her only customer and made sure to give us ample time in making decisions about what home we might want to see, as well as pertinent feedback, that helped us to guide our choice. Once we found our house, Melissa had multiple business contacts, including mortgage brokers and knowledge of the local title agencies, that made a 30 day close possible and quite simple which was necessary for our circumstances and helped us get the home of our dreams in a timely manner. We ended up having a very difficult purchasing process because of the seller of the home and the title company he chose to use for closing. But with Melissas help it went as smoothly as it could have gone given the circumstances. She was ahead of the game on every move and made sure I was ready to go with all of my documents, checks and payments. What always made me feel assured was that if she did not have an answer she would make it her top priority to find it ASAP and the fact that she stood by me, literally, on all of the parts of home buying that made me uncomfortable and provided peace of mind by offering her expertise.
