I wanted to take a moment to post about the excellent experience I had working with Melissa Jenkins. From the very start of the process until the end, she was a complete joy to work with. In the very beginning when I was only thinking about selling my home, she provided substantive information and resources which helped to inform me on my decision. She also took the time to talk through several scenarios which made the process much more comfortable than I anticipated.Once I decided that I was ready to sell, she communicated every step of the way as she hired a professional photographer, sought my input on the listing and determined the price. To my surprise, we had an offer within the first week! This is where Melissa really shined as an agent as she informed me of the current state of the market and began negotiating. She was in contact with me constantly and her knowledge about current housing trends definitely played a big role in my decision to accept an offer. Her experience, expertise and frequent communication were instrumental in building my trust. It is because of this trust that I accepted an offer shortly after listing. (My lack of experience caused me to think that maybe I should wait and see what other offers might come in the weeks ahead. I am so glad I didn't wait because it worked out perfectly!). Such an amazing professional! Melissa Jenkins was a joy to work with. I reside in northern California and was selling property in Somerset, New Jersey. I reached out to Melissa the end of June 2018 regarding listing the property. She immediately contacted me and we began to start the process. Due to the 3 hour time difference I had thought this was going to be a nightmare to get done. Melissa took the time difference into account, managed/respected it and was able to communicate with me effectively. Melissa took the time to explain how documents would sent/handled and signed. The necessary paperwork was forwarded to me via email for electronic signature.Once Melissa received access to the property she immediately informed me of the minor modification that needed to before listing the property. Pictures of the property were completed and the property was listed on July 13. Melissa continued to keep me abreast of the potential offers that were coming in. At this point things were moving quite fast. Melissa inquired if I had a particular attorney that I wanted to utilize. I told her that I did not have an attorney in NJ. Melissa responded back with several recommendations. I made my selection and informed Melissa. I accepted an offer and needless to say we closed on August 1! I was so impressed with Melissas professionalism that I inquired if she could assist me on the purchase of some property in Nevada. It was a true pleasure to work with Melissa Jenkins. She was on point every step of the way and kept me well informed.
