Melissa is the ***ABSOLUTE GREATEST*** and I would recommend her to anyone who needs to buy or sell a house. TEN STARS!! (Five is not enough) My Story: I was a first time homebuyer who started shopping for a house in the Spring of 2015. I had heard horror stories from my friends about their realtor experiences, so I was worried about finding a good real estate agent. After meeting dozens of agents, I finally picked Melissa because she was genuine, personable, intelligent, motivated, and very pro-active. Thank God I found her. Without Melissa my experience would have been a disaster. She was always on top of the paperwork, and kept me informed at every single point in the process. She ALWAYS knew what was going on at any given moment. People who have bad agents, like some of my friends did, wind up losing thousands of dollars because the agents miss deadlines. Some agents are lazy, some do not care, and some are just bad. This will never happen with Melissa. She will always keep you one step ahead of the contract, which is mind boggling considering how complicated the whole process is: offers, counter offers, inspectors, testers, appraisers, lenders, and on and on. I must also admit that I was not the best customer. I was picky, I was on a tight budget, and I asked to visit nearly every house on the market in my price range. I was probably the most annoying home buyer she had in 2015. Yet Melissa was always positive and upbeat, and never, ever, made me feel like a burden. She was always enthusiastic about my plan, and willing to go to the ends of the earth to make it happen. I cannot believe how much work she put into helping me find the right house, and how great it was to work with her. Not only that, but her expertise saved me hundreds of hours of wasted time visiting houses she knew I wouldn?t like, because she knew precisely the types of things that I cared and did not care about in a home. Finally, after months of home tours, open houses, inspections, and appraisals, I found MY perfect house. Melissa helped me negotiate the offer and counter offer, and I got the right price. And then, just when I thought I was going to close on my new home ? disaster struck. There was a huge problem with my bank approving the mortgage (which had nothing to do with Melissa, it was 100% a banking problem). The lender was supposed to close the loan in 60 days, but they dragged their feet and wound up taking twice as long. While I was scrambling around trying to fix the mortgage paperwork, Melissa helped me keep my sanity. Her calm demeanor helped keep me focused on solving the problem. Issue after issue kept popping up with my lender, and every time Melissa had creative and innovative solutions. It?s only because of Melissa was I able to buy my first home. I would have wasted thousands of dollars if not for her, and given up my dream of home ownership. She was the absolute best, and when I?m ready to buy my next home she will be the first person I call. You will not find a better home buying agent in the entire country.
