Melanie Mitchell

Melanie Mitchell is beginning her 17th year as a REALTOR(R) and is an Active Lifetime Member of the West Metro Board of REALTORS(R) Top Producer Club. As an active member of the West Metro Board of REALTORS(R), she has served in various capacities, most recently as President in 2019. Melanie is actively involved serving in the community through the Board's outreach opportunities including the Special Olympics, THS homeless shelter, habitat for humanities and various other programs. She was honored in 2017 with the Anita Robinson Spirit Award, for her community service involvement. In 2018 her peers awarded her as Realtor of the Year, and again in 2019. Melanie is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where she earned a bachelor's degree in education. She is a married mother of two children and is involved with local school and recreation programs. For the past 22 years, Melanie and her family have been active members of Tyus Baptist Church. As a real estate agent Melanie's strongest asset is the fact that she truly enjoys her job. A home or business purchase is an exciting and important event, and she gains great satisfaction from being able to help guide clients through the process. Whether buying a home, selling one, or finding a rental property she is happy to help individuals, families, and businesses with their real estate transactions. Melanie has completed additional educational opportunities to provide her clients with the best experience possible to include certifications and designation in GRI(R) (Graduate, REALTOR(R) Institute), ABR(R) (Accredited Buyer's Representative), MRP (Military Relocation Professional), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) and e-Pro(R) (Internet/technology Professional).
