About Meg Smith

Meg has been a resident of the Sewickley area since 2000 when she moved here from Cincinnati, OH with her family. She has raised her three children here and has learned more about the city of Pittsburgh while driving to sporting events as her children attended Oakland Catholic, Central Catholic, and Quaker Valley High Schools. Growing up in a small beach town in New Jersey, Meg worked in her dad's real estate office answering phones and handing out keys. This experience has given her an insider's view of the real estate industry. Her father, who is still an active Broker, is her first call when wanting to discuss the intricacies of the real estate business. Meg recently passed her NJ Real Estate Exam and is licensed in both states. Meg's goal as your Realtor(R) is to provide you with unparalleled customer service. She will work with you to find the home of your dreams while making the buying and selling process as seamless as possible. She hopes to have satisfied buyers and sellers at the end of every transaction. Meg enjoys researching the history of homes and has an interest in all that the Pittsburgh area has to offer. As a first time home buyer, I never thought I would be attempting to buy a home on the other side of the country, and depending on someone else to be my eyes. Meg was amazing! Efficient and stress free home selling experience with our realtor from Compass, Meg Smith. We sat down with Meg in summer and our home was marketed and sold by Fall. First, she had professional staging instructions and recommendations on where to spruce up the home. Followed with a resource list of professionals to assist in the process. Next came a vibrant photoshoot and her creation of an online portal to view the home. After one realtor open house, we had a contract and several interested parties. Meg helped us to negotiate the final dollar offer as well as appropriate closing date. She had a very informed idea of the local market and comparable prices to guide us. Meg knows the home buying and selling process and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
