1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Meet with a local lender and get your mortgage pre-qualification. Know your spending limits, be organized in your search by keeping notes. Be prepared to make your best offer first. Houses are selling very fast right now.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Curb appeal provides some of the highest return on investment. Clean-up the yard, spruce up the flower beds, decorate for the season. Tackle the DIY outdoor fixes and handyman jobs. Hire a local Realtor who knows your neighborhood and local market.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
First-time Homebuyers, Relocations, Upgrade and Downsize. I also work closely with Real Estate Investors, to help them find, fix and re-sell residential properties.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Over the spring I helped a couple achieve their dream of moving from NYC to the suburbs of Philadelphia. Overall, I enjoy the challenge of any transaction, everyday is a new and interesting day. No two sales are ever the same.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
After retiring from Law Enforcement, I decided to establish a real estate business in order to utilize all the connections I had made within the community. I knew the broad base of my network would be beneficial to clients and I.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have a background in contract negotiations and extensive training in interpersonal communication techniques. I also have experience in the maintenance and construction fields, I know how houses are put together and how they work.
